Pod szyldem Bednarek w Ostródzie 9 sierpnia pojawi się nowy zespół Kamila Bednarka, gdzie oryginalnych gitarzystów StarGuardMuffin zastąpili weterani ze Stage of Unity. Młody i utalentowany wokalista z Brzegu odpowiedzialny jest za największy komercyjny sukces reggae w tym kraju. Po zwycięstwie w programie „Bitwa na głosy” Kamil jest w trakcie pracy nad nowym albumem. Na zakończenie Konkursu Młodych Polskich Zespołów Reggae da dobry przykład tego, że muzyka korzeni nie musi być brzmieniem undergroundu.  Comments (1)

Zespół reggae roku 2009 wg. magazynu Free Colours to nie byle jaki sukces, podobnie jak pierwsza nagroda w Konkursie Młodych Polskich Zespołów Reggae podczas Ostróda Reggae Festiwal 2005. Tabu to jeden z najbardziej popularnych polskich zespołów nowej fali reggae. Wszędzie gdzie zagrają rozpalają ogień. W związku z tym wszyscy lubią ich zapraszać. Her reggae story started in 2002 with Bass Medium Trinity soundsystem. Now she is one of the top Polish female singers connected with the reggae scene. She is also a radio journalist – first hosting a show on the Polish National Radio “Czwórka”, now to be heard on Roxy FM airwaves. She performs with her Spokoarmia band and in various sound system configurations. But this time in Ostróda you will see her in a different role. Taking under account her brilliance, charm, knowledge, stage experience and positive aura that she spreads, we offered her a job of the main Red Stage MC. For four festival days she will be introducing bands, announcing lost children, found mobile phones and just making the breaks between the bands nice. Ladies and gentlemen – MC Marika!!! There are only three sounds that do it continuous on that level: Jah Shaka, Aba Shanti-I and them. Channel One - one of the world's greatest and best known dub reggae sound system, run by legendary selector Mikey Dread and MC Ras Kayleb, is coming to Poland for the first time in 33 years long history. Ostróda’s Green Stage 12th August, with Aba Shanti-I to follow them, all on the famous Dubseed stacks - the heaviest sound system night in Poland. Known as one of the artists leading the contemporary dancehall movement, Busy Signal has just surprised fans paying great tribute to Jamaican roots music on his newest album. His first Polish show at Ostróda Reggae Festival on 11th August will be a tasty mixture of the explosive dancehall hits and new massive reggae tracks played by his tight Jamaican Hi Voltage Band. Not without a reason they won the Northern Europe final of Rototom European Reggae Contest 2011. Urban reggae heavyweights Laid Blak originate from Bristol and are taking UK festivals, live music venues and underground club scene by storm.  Samorząd Studentów Akademii Obrony Narodowej zaprasza na Majowe Wibracje, jedyną imprezę w ramach Juwenaliów Warszawskich organizowaną po prawej stronie Wisły.
W tym roku, 15 maja, już po raz trzeci integracja studentów Warszawy będzie miała miejsce na kampusie AON, a dokładnie obok Wydziału Zarządzania i Dowodzenia, przy alei gen. Chruściela 103. Wtorkowe majowe południe wypełnią dźwięki znanych Wam bardzo dobrze zespołów, przy których będzie można się nieźle zakręcić ;)
Przedstawiamy pełny harmonogram imprezy:
